Can anyone point me in the direction as to where the heck i can find full rockers for my convertible. Mine are in very poor shape.I know the inners are avail repop, the rest I know are not. Maybe someone knows a person or a salvage yard that will cut them out for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW this website is the best. The information is endless. I can read it for hours! email is mikeplusdawn@optonline.net
Thanks,
Mike

I haven't heard of or found any lately. The Parts Place, Inc. is supposed to be coming out with them sometime.... but who knows.

Anyone hear differently?

I have a set (left and right) inner/outer on a donor coupe, that may work. Are they they same? Email me at wolfy948@hotmail.com if you are interested in some pictures to check them out. They are still on the car, so I would have to cut them out.

unfortunately they are not the same as a coupe. A convertible has beefier rockers for extra support. They need to be cut of a convertible. Thanks for your help...Mike

Hello Again,

That's news to me. I had the repro inners installed - nice and beefy with some trimming/fitment required. While the rockers were opened up, one side needed some internal repair which wasn't too hard ( for my body guy ).

Very exciting to see more vert stuff. Do you have a cross sectional view? Those items are quite a piece of manufacturing!

Bill, it's not a biggy. I'm glad someone has this part available, and that you're a TC member.
If someone didn't ask and you didn't advertise in the CLASSIFIED section, vert owners would be still hunting.

Rick,

I don't have a cross section photo... but they do have the two ribs in the center and are constructed like original.

Hello Again,
I just saw these listed on Paddock website as full 69 convertible rocker panel. I guess they are finally avail. I wonder who makes them. Also, they are listed as 69, would they fit my 68 ? You pros would know if there are differences between 68 and 69. You would think they would list them as such.

Mike,

They fit all three years ( 7,8 & 9) I checked with my vendor today.

They are an awesome piece.

That looks like the inner structure.Looks like you would still need the outer skin with those?

Pinch me I must be dreaming!

Are these things really available, or are they like the complete 'body shell' that was being sold that actually wasn't?
