I see alot pics of 69 Zs with no rear bumper guards. Did during restoration they forgot to put them on or they are not real Zs. I thought all 69 Zs came with large rear bumper guards.

Yes, all 69 Z's came with the large rear bumper guards. Alot of guys take them off because they do not like the look. My Dad's one owner 69' RS Z had them. He took them off as well.

I dont understand that :) I love the look of the large bumpers. I have a set of GM fronts and rears going on my SS. More unique than the everyday shorties :D

I agree. In fact, the guards were an item I was looking several months ago, but need to revisit. This is cool, because I didn't know they were on all Z's. Now it is a must for my car. Damn you. Damn you all (see the "How much have you invested in your Camaro" thread) :D
