hey guys, im new to this car stuff and need your help, i want my car to be a street/ strip car, traction is very important to me, so i was looking at some comp engineering adjustable drag shocks, but i also want my car lowered a little, so i wanna know if it is possible to combine drag shocks with lowering coil/leaf springs, or is there other ways to lower a mostly street/strip car without too much fabrication,..........thanx:beers:

Yes you can run lowering springs and Drag shocks.
If you look at my car (all though it is a 67) I have lowered it by removing 1 leaf from the rear spring package and I am running Rancho RS 9000 adjustable shocks on the rear and I cut coils from the front and have C/E adjustable Drag shocks on the front.

im planning on getting new lowing coils for the front and lowering leafs for the back (since they are mono right now) im looking for weight transfer still though if possible, but another questions is do they have to b a specific type of lowering springs to do weight transfer, b/c i was looking at hotchkis and eibach lowering stuff but they seem like they are more for handling? or am i wrong and they make no difference?
