Can anyone tell me what size the 4 bolts are that attach the subframe to body on a 69 Camaro? It would be greatly appreciated. :D

1/2-13X2.5 inches, hex head, Gr 8, I think.

they are actually 5/8 coarse thread, and closer to 4" long, if i remember correctly. the radiator support bolts are 7/16" coarse, i think. all grade 8.
but if you use the CE solid body mounts, get bolts that are about an inch shorter than stock, since they don't "sandwich" the subframe like the stockers do.

The rear & mid bolts p/n's listed in AIM is 3912533 and the radiator support p/n is 3914816. I crossed referenced the p/ns at http://www.amkproducts.com and their dimensions are 5/8-11x 3 1/8 and 1/2-13 x 3.

Awesome guys! Thanks for that info. I will be going to the hardware store and getting my bolts. Have anyone ever had success with getting subframe bushings over the counter at one of the local parts places?

i'd suggest going with some form of solid mounts- they will firm up the car a lot, and won't make the ride any stiffer.
the Competition Engineering solid mounts are the cheapest you can get, and they get the job done. Summit and Jegs carry them, and you might be able to find a local store that can get them for you.

I was just now thinking about getting some Energy Suspension Poly Mount bushings. I was wondering if solid mounts would be too harsh but maybe it might increase the ride quality?

the solid mounts will make the suspension do it's job, by giving it a more stable platform to operate on.
look at all the other unibody cars out there from that era- the bolt in "half a frame" subframe with rubber bushings isolating the body from the frame is unique to the GM Camaro/Nova chassis cars. every Mopar built back then didn't have a subframe bolted in separately, nor did the Mustangs of that- or any other- era.
