Hey Guys,
I have been sitting on my project car for about 3 years due to work being a bit slow $$ and not having much free time to work on her..

Well its time to gte back to work on get her on the road, I had purchased a Baer Track system for the car, 13" front, 12" rear, polished calipers, Baer logo done with the paint from the car, blah blah blah.. anyway my question is this, when I bought the system I did not get a master cylinder or booster, when I purchased the kit the guys were suggesting I do manual brakes, they said there would be no need for power..

#1. how do you guys feel about that

#2. what master cylinder should I get?

man at one time I had this all figured out, I"m sooo lost after not being able to pay
attention to the car for 3 years!!!! lol

Thanks for the help!!

Originally Baer would supply a with a 15/16" bore master cylinder (MC). Most guys run a 7/8" bore for manual setups and 1 1/8" bore MC for power or hydraboost setups. Which setup to choose is personal preference. I have briefly used all three setups with my current Baer brakes and all were acceptable. The hydraboost setup was by far the hands down winner, but then it did cost the most. I am currently contemplating going back to a manual setup just to cleanup the engine bay...

Rocket,
Do have any favorites as to what kind of MC?

I don't have any favorites myself. Whats the intended purpose of the car (show, go or weekend cruiser)? What's your budget?

The car is a BB, T400 trans. It was built to be a cruiser, but is very showable. I think I am going to go with manual due to lack of room in the engine bay, and I think it will look a bit cleaner. as for the budget......well at this point I have dumped soo much cash into the car that I"m not too worried about the cost.

A 7/8" Polished Wilwood would look nice, http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=WIL%2D260%2D9439P&N=700+400196+4294852250+4294852160+115&autoview=sku
