Does anyone know how many 396 Pace Cars were M20 (or other 4sp)? I was told 12 but not sure about this.

No one knows the answer to that. Just some guesses based on percentages of options combined. Sounds like a low guess to me.

Very low. There are more than that in our small db.

No one knows, estimates says that around 900 cars had bigblocks and out of them some 200 had manual trans.

But this is just guesses, don't take it for facts.

I won't even hazard a guess on the manuals, but as Bill said, we know of many more than 12.

Thanks guys!! I knew you would know! I will be advertising this car for a friend. He told me 1 of 12 but I didn't think that was correct. I sure don't want to mislead anyone.
