So I did a little poking around here and an a few other sites. Found a slew of posts here about this rack. The only info i got was basically
1) the kit comes with grade 5 bolts the I can easily change to grade 8
2) the tie rods nuts are not castle nuts but have nylon locks which I would also change.

What I am hoping to find out is
1) are their any bump steer issues?
2) what if any is the weight savings?
3) Are their any complaint about performance or diveability issues?

I spoke to Unisteer the other day and they cans set me up with all the things I need from the tilt column to the rack and the Aluminum pump.
I just want to make sure their are no issues other then the issues I mention above.
Thanks for any help
:beers:

We use them on our subframe and when the numbers are entered on the comp program the bump steer is minimal ( nothing i wold worry about)
we have used it a few times on builds anf it drives fine, the steering shaft is a bit tight and you will have to modify your headers.

Thanks Blake Have Did you run the numbers with the stock subframe? (bumps steer Program)
I plan on using a gen1 SBC. Were the header issues you experienced with a LS motor?
Wondering beacause one of my motives is to resolve the pitman arm interferance issue.
Thanks
