looking for info on how to mount rear speakers in a 68. I have all the stuff to mount them but can't seem to see how they go in. the car didn't have rears from factory so maybe there is a braket that i don't have. can anybody give me more info

Yes there are two brackets for speaker in the back of a convertible. I don’t think anyone hardly uses them though. I don’t think you can hear the speakers mounted (factory original style) if the top is down. The “speakers in the back” topic has been discussed here dozens of times. Do a search in this forum like “back speakers” or just “speakers.” You’ll find lots of people’s ideas & modifications concerning this issue. I still have not decided which one of these ideas I’m going to use myself. I’m talking about having some serious BASS speakers in the back while retaining (basically) an original factory look, or close to factory. Some people just put a great big bass system in the truck & don’t mess with back seat interior modifications.
