Just got my subframe back from being sandblasted (for second time) after having a friend go over all the welds and have started applying POR-15 inside and out. My wife came up with a good idea for painting the inside of the frame and I wanted to share this because I know it is asked all the time. I tape a sponge drinking glass octopuss looking thing to a 7/16 wooden dowel and dunk it into the POR and run it through the frame. It will probably take a few passed but seems to work pretty good. Tomorrow I'll flip it over so I can to the bottom half better. Click on the link to see some progress. Thanks for all the support and help I have rec'd from this board!

Great idea! I'm in the prosess of doing the same thing. My Bro had welded in the new mounts and fixed up some other spots that looked like they could use some more welds. I'm getting mine sandblasted next week and have the POR 15 waiting.

I just did mine 2 days ago. Had it blasted and shot with por15. It looks awesome. I was planning on priming over it and painting it but I may leave it glossy. It looks noce. Plus it will breake up all the semi gloss sheetmetal in the engine compartment. I did the firewall today with por15 from a gun and I did a lousy job. Oh well, practice makes better, I guess.
