All the VIN tells us is that it's a 67 Camaro coupe, and it is an original V8 car. It was assembled at the Los Angeles (Van Nuys) plant, and is a February 67 build.

The cowl trim tag on the firewall will provide more clues as to how it was optioned.

From the numbers you posted, the car is an RS, but was not built as an SS, even though it looks like one now. These cars all have a history, it's been forty years after all.
