You need more information than that. Give us the numbers stamped on the trim tag. Also, since it is an early car, there is a slight chance that the build sheet could be hiding in the car. Look above the gas tank, under the carpet or behind/inside/under the seats. Does the car have a 12 bolt? If not, it won't be anything special unless someone has removed it.

3rd digit is engine 3=6cyl, 4=v8
6th digit is model year 0=1970
7th is assembly plant N=Norwood.....L=Van Nuys
Last 6 digits increased by 1 for each car built at each plant

We need to see the trim tag info. The VIN only tells you that it was a V8 car. Please post as soon as possible.

Print out this page and take it with you when looking at the car:

Being a 1970 ... sometimes even the trim tag wont give you all the informaton . for example , if it was an S.S .... It may not be provable anywhere without original documentation . a more thorough evaluation of many of the components ranging from the block , tranny numbers and date codes down to subtle things such as whether the tail lights have a thin chrome ring around them to if it has "hide away windsheild wipers" will suggest its true identity . This is what makes cars with original documentation so much more valuable as collectors . Good Luck
