:(:confused:ok i have a 91 camaro rs the car has been sitting for a while i bought it from some guy i drove down the road and the heater blowers went ,, the heat barely creeped through the vent so i turned the blowers off the turned the blowers on again and they dont blow anything out so i get home shut them off and turned the car off i then changed the fuse and started the car again then i turned on the heater blowers.... after about ten minutes it blows the fuse again and i got no heat why does this keep happening ??? i need help with this!!!

The fuse blows after changing? Might be that the fan is seized up. I'm not familiar with your year of car. If no one gets you in the right direction here, go over to nastyz28.com they can probably help.

ok thanks and yes after the fuse is changed it will blow again for like 10 minutes then the fuse will snap again and the blowers wont work

either blower motor is drawing to much current and blowing fuse. or resistor is no good. try the resisror first there about 25 bux in the parts stores.

Mice may have chewed the wires? I would bench test it. Try the resistor as stated...:D

ok now if that isnt the problem then what should i look at toward a second source

smell the area of the motor after the fuse pops. If its smells burnt..or just abnormal for that matter, then r & r the blower motor. Fuse is popping for a reason.
1. its a short to ground after the motor gets spinning (created by dirt, etc, in the coils of the motor) or
2. the resistor is bad in the motor.
