Figured I'd post separately pointing to another post where Dave is looking for help with his power top wiring. I think I've got most of it, but what would be helpful for Dave (and probably for JimM's "What It Is, Where It Is" electrical sticky) is a picture of where the wire that goes from the firewall breaker thru the firewall routes. Can anyone ehlp out in this thread: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=122671

for sure, Eric! I'll take that, the breaker, the front and back of the switch, and the motor!

Can anybody confirm that this is the dimple (see red arrow) that indicates where to drill for the UPC-C06-A1 power wire to pass through for convertible power tops and power windows?

I believe that the dimple below is RPO-Z22 vacuum hoses..

Steve -

The only piercing for CO6 that I see in the 69 AIM (UPC 0, page A9) are the two holes for the circuit breaker well above the dimple you have the arrow to. The same diagram shows what appears to be the lower of the two dimples. But... the equivalent page in the 68 AIM shows both of those dimples, with Z22 using the lower of the two. So, although it's not shown because Fisher made the hole for the harness, it seems like that has to be it. I think if I was you, I would PM JohnZ or post with his name in title, and ask if the wiring for AE1 power windows/C06 power top was the top dimple of the pair.

I think the pics on this thread show the two reversed, but the owner added both the RS and power windows himself.

Look at the clean firewall pic in Post #3 of this thread...shows Z22 hole as top dimple.

Same for Post #11 in this one:

So, heck, now I am as confused as you....

Thanks very much Eric.
It would make more sense that the Z22 grommet should be the top dimple because it's slightly further from the booster bracket to allow for a larger diameter.
But, it's not the case according to UPC 0-A9. It's quite clear as Z22 being the lower dimple. -or at least directly adjacent to the lower booster bolt.

I wonder if the assembly guys simply drilled the wrong one?

Anyway, I'm not installing Z22, just C06. I'll drill the top one. ;)
