I need to replace my top with a new black one. I have seen different offers on ebay and they are available from site supporters. I plan on repainting the frame and then handing the job over to a pro to complete the installation.

My question: Is there any difference between the different tops available? I have seen some listed as 38 oz and 40 oz. What should I look for in a quality top? What should I avoid?

I think the topic has cover alot of ground on the site, Did you try the search for more info ? One thing I would do first is talk to the top shop before you purchase your it, some dont like to install if you bring in your own, It may have something to do with not making any money on the parts. I'd ask what the price would be if they supply the top and with out.
