I am working on restoring 67 with a rear spoiler. It is missing a couple of the both the long and short threaded rods (?) to attach it to the decklid. I can't find them anywhere. are these a standard size you can get from a hardware store? Any help I could get on where to find these or how to make them would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Is the fiberglass hogged out where the studs pulled out, or were they just screwed out? I found two types of studs at the hardware store. One was standard 1/4"-20 on both ends, and the other was wood screw on one end and 1/4"-20 on the other. either one might need to be cut shorter to fit....especially the wood screw type. From the factory, both ends were machine screw thread, but if it's hogged out, you might be able to epoxy the wood screw type.

Do a search from about a year or year-and-a-half ago. I did a long thread on how I modified my studs to take the stress off the spoiler.
