I am installing a new water neck. Do you suggest using anything to bind the seal between the neck and the intake, other than the o-ring/paper washer that was provided with the water neck? Thx. D

No, O-ring & gasket should be more than enough. Fifteen to twenty ft./lbs. of torque on the bolts. Clean threads on both.

Overtightening the bolts will warp the housing in the future.
