I'm all excited. :hurray: It's been almost 2 years in the making so far, and I'm still nowhere near being done. Yet, this is the milestone that helps me better visualize what this thing is going to look like when I finish. Maybe by Spring I will have something that I can actually drive.

I used a modern GM paint (U-218M) which is the same paint used on the Cobalt. It has a little bit of pearl in it which I really like.

Rhino, you are very observant. Yes, that is an LS1. I had one pulled from a 2000 camaro at a wrecking yard in L.A. I had it rebuilt with LS6 heads and forged pistons and connected rods. Plan is to put a Magnacharger on top of that bad boy. I kept the compression ratio high (10.5 to 1) to keep engine efficiency high. To keep from detonating I also plan on adding Water/Alcohol Injection. Like was mentioned earlier, I better get wrenching. :D

Very Nice...LOVE the paint color....I have been trying to decide on paint for mine....may go that route....Not that i don't have a TON to do before I am to that point.

Eleanor, I was thinking about adding some pearl ghost stripes. Probably there are some people out there cringing at the idea. My wife is against the idea. She thinks it should stay the way it is now. What do you think?

I think the ghost pearl stripes will look good.....and if the wife doesn't like it then just use that as an excuse to buy another camaro! You could sell that idea by saying number two is for her,lol.
