I would like to have a wood grain radio delete plate BUT when I see them they sell for big money . I was thinking of buying a dented glove box door or a console forward plate and striping the vinyl and making one !:D
I have seen the vinyl on e-bay years ago !

i would think that removing the vinyl would stretch and destroy it...

this will not work. glovebox woodgrain is painted or etched on, forward plate is a type a vinyl, but no way to remove 40 year old plastic without damaging it. Nice looking woodgrain comes up on ebay occasionally, but I think they repro that part now.
