Is there supposed to be a front license plate braket for a 68 Camaro. If so, where can I get one.

There is a bracket for the front plate. You can get them from National Parts Depot or just about any other repro manufacturer for around $10. I hope this helps.

While we're at it, how would you recommend installing a front license plate bracket on a '68 with no front bumper?

In my state a front license plate is required by law, so it really just depends where you live and if you want it or not.

The 68' that I have didn't use any part of the front bumper to mount the plate, which is why I suspected a bracket option.

The bracket mounts to the bottom front valance using white plastic pop in nuts. But one screw does go through the bumper. The top mount slips behind the bumper so that the screw must go through the bumber hole to tighten and the other two use the plastic nuts on the valance.

For the top mount, is there a second bracket that fits inside the front bumper that this attaches to?

The bottom seems pretty straight forward, however I am having difficulty with the top mount.

Anyone have a picture of the front bracket installed?

Turns out the one I bought had to be bent a little more in order to fit...thought I was doing something wrong.
