Can you remove the heater box firewall cover without removing the fender on a 69?

They say you can, but I was not able to. You might get the cover out, if you take the blower motor out of the cover, when it is still inside the fender. I would have been hours ahead if I had removed the fender to begin with.

I was able to by loosing in the inner fender, then I could get at the lower and upper bolts of the heater box cover that were covered by the inner fender.

Brad900 and I were able to get to it by unbolting the inner fender. It was definitely easier with 2 people. He was under the hood removing the box while I was in the wheel well pulling on the inner fender. I'm sure it was also a little easier since we pulled the engine out a couple weeks ago. :beers:
