When I pulled the subframe from the body the the cage over the nut for the body mount in the firewall spun a little with the nut. I got the bolt out but was wondering what to do about the cage and nut now. Are there replacements or a common fix or if it holds when you re-attach the frame do you just leave it alone?

you can make a new cage or fix the one you have
you nead, to have a little give when you reattach the subframe
or it more of a pain in the rear

I pried the cage off and used grade 8 hardware. There are repro items available if you want to go that route.

Hey I went to Kansas City last year when we played ya'll and I will say you guys have some of the best fans. Lots of class and super nice even in defeat. I won't say the same for Missouri fans though after this years game in San Antonio! Thanks for the info on the subframe mounts.
