Hi, just wondering what type of finish was on my 67 'vert from the factory. I have black deluxe interior and they need repainted.

Thanks for the help,
Matt

They were not glossy. Just trial and error until you like the finish. Every one does them different

They were low gloss black, Ditzler refinish for the 67 black is 9248; the Ditzler for 68 and 69 is 9266. I have never looked at a 67 and 68 side by side, but I recall the 67 being slightly more gloss. If you search "9248" here there's some discussion.

If you don't want to mess with going to a paint supplier, I think 9266 and 7777 RustOleum are too close to tell, so if 9248 isn't a lot glossier than 9266 (or you're okay with "pretty correct"), then 7777 should be fine in a 67. 7777 is one of those paints that when applied in light coats, with each applied while the previous is still a little wet, will come out a little glossier than one coat or coats allowed to fully dry between re-coating.
