Anyone know where I can find a DS lower seat frame for a '69? Im restoring my seats and found the bottom is in really bad shape and must be replaced. I dont need the tracks or springs but will take whats available as long as the frame is in good usable condition.

Can it be welded? No one is going to be able to see that repair. Though I think I saw that they are starting to reproduce the seat frames now. I had find my seats on ebay.

The usual problem with lower seats Im guessing is rust. Shouldnt be too hard to find what your looking for. Another TC member has a completely restored set of seats for sale if you just want to go that route let me know and I will foward his info.
