Sorry if this a pretty nubish question, but I have not torn into a Chevy in many years and getting ready to do a powerglide to M20 Muncie conversion. Is it safe to assume that my flexplate on the powerglide is a 153 toothed ring and I should get a 153 toothed clutch flywheel for the conversion? I will be using the stock bellhousing for a 10.5 size clutch.

Thanks in advance.

I may well be safe to assume that - but, it could be different ...
Do you know which starter is presently installed?
If it's a 'straight-pattern' 153 tooth starter, then I'd go with the 021 type flywheel and a 403 type bellhousing with the 10.5" clutch.
This smaller dia flywheel combo works well with these quick reving engines.

Thanks, pretty sure I got the 403 bellhousing, any more part numbers though for the 021 flywheel?
