Yep, you guys have fun, but stay safe. I've been calling it "Amateur's Night" for about 25yrs, and will be going to be with my family, sisters, & nephews to play games and eat like pigs...as has been the tradition for many years now :)

Happy New Year to ALL :hurray:

We plan to stay home (at the lake) and have a couple nice scotches while watching the sunset again.

I usually do my best to stay off the highways this time of year ...

Cant let John have all the pretty scenery to stare at from inside where the coffee is hot and home made chicken and dumplings will keep us warm. :D Happy New Years to all TC folks.
It is -25 wind chill right now.. going down to -15 actual temp tonight. Its a little quiet at the ole fire pit too. Darn chairs are chilly on the '..roids' :D

Thank you, it is a very busy place in the warmer summer months - so the sife and I really enjoy coming up in the 'off' season to just relax and enjoy the quite and views of the Sierra's.
It looks like you have us beat by quite a bit on the "Cold" factor there Jim
I still think a roaring fire and a few nice 'Winter drinks' and you could enjoy uourself out there today :D
It drops off pretty fast at night around here, but the days are usually above freezing.
Noticed the lake froze almost all the way across the cove in front of us last night - when the storm predicted hits tomorrow night it will be covered in a few feet of fresh snow, and ready for some rube to fall through again ...

Everyone have a great New Years - and 'Stay Off the Ice'
