It's great looking to me, but it will look like sh-t until it get's a good green copper patina on it over time like the Statue of Liberty has!

Fwiw, Henry Ford made some SS 1936 Fords!! (I flat didn't think any of them survived b/c they were rode hard and put up wet, or at least I thought they all were back then)..

It'll look great stripped to the chassis when the theives strip the shell just to sell the copper, LOL.

That Cobra looks better brushed. Probably could not get a flash photo on it . I think this is that coating I saw at Sema, spray on.

Yes, spray on paint. I think it's a 3 step proccess. The lower coat is a "chrome", then they use a transparent color over it.

That is the same thought I had! I usually don't like off the wall colors, but I like this one.

Didn't Hot Wheels make cars like that in the 60's :)

And it doesn't hold up well, whether it's coated or not. The slightest surface scratches and imperfections show up really really well. Good luck to him...
