Does anyone have pics of the hurst back up light switch installed ? Just wanted to see where it mounts.

That is the set up for the muncie shifter. I have the hurst shifter .

I used to have one, but it's been gone a couple years, and I can't find a pic.

The bracket has 2 holes, different sizes. The switch goes in the one it fits in, and tighten it down. The shifter has "Limit" bolts in the front and rear of the main body. Take off the rear one, put the bolt thru the bracket and screw it back in.

Put the shifter in forst and readjust the limit bolt so it just touches the 1-2 arm inside the shifter, not enough to actually move it. Don't tighten the lock nut all the way.

Put the shifter in reverse. Move the bracket and switch so the reverse arm is pressing the switch. Tighten the locknut. If you need to, you can also adjust the switch in and out with the 2 nuts.

Here's a post that describes what Jim is saying as well. It connects to the rear stop bolt. You'll figure it out--when you shift into reverse, the rod bumps the switch to turn the lights on. You can easily bend the bracket to make sure there's contact.

Got the switch installed today. Works great. Nice to have reverse lights.
