I was wondering if it is necessary to use a rod and spring on a BB with the m-21. I see in the kits sold that there is a spring and rod that attach to the clutch lever on the engine side of the firewall. I have connected the proper spring to the clutch arm but it seems as if the spring has alot of tension. Do I need to modify a SB rod or can I use just the spring. The assembly manuals are not clear on this!!! Please e-mail me with any suggestions.
