I had the chance to go into a Junk Yard today that had some of the oldest cars and trucks that I had ever seen. There was a late 40 early 50's Chevy 4400 Crane with about a 25 foot boom. Mid to late 30's Dodge School Bus a 1934 Dodge 1 Ton Truck with Suicide Doors 6 or 8 35 36 Chevy or Ford Coupe's some old vintage race cars. 40 Autocar Truck some probably 40's Mack Trucks I was amazed. Also 32 Ford Vicky old race car or Hot Rod cut up etc. There was a Crane that was supposed to be around 1918 or 1800's I forgot which he said but said it was the oldest one in the state which I do not douth. Just interesting pieces there. I ask how much for the 34 Dodge Truck and he ask what was my plans with the Truck restore back to original or street rod hot rod etc. and I said probably street rod and he well I do not think I want to sale then, he fills like it should be restored back to original and it is pretty rough old truck.

That sounds like a fun trip. I remember all the old yards out on Easley Bridge RD. aka hwy 124. Was this yard in the upstate? Just curious.
