3.8l V6 Manual gearbox.

The engine has just had a top end rebuild including a new ECU. It had new coil packs less than 18 months ago.

Its now thrown an 0304 code showing misfire on cylinder 4. Before I replace the coil pack is there anything obvious to check?

my 97 done that and half of my coil was bad.

Are multiple coil packs on your motor? Can you swap two of them and see where the misfire goes?

Thanks guys. Its looking like the plugs and leads are fine so I think the coil pack is the problem. I'll try swapping out before I buy a pack

you should only have 3 packs right? so you should be able to find out pretty easily
