I am in the process of working out a deal with an old man that has a great project in a running/driving 70 Camaro that has a 350/TH350 combo. Don't know if it's original...but I do think it was a V8 car. Which rearend would this more than likely have? Thanks!

Oh yeah....we're looking at $1,500!!!!!

Then it sounds like I need to find a Dana 60 and cut it down! :D

What did the 8.5's come in??? Was it the later years. Would like to find something that would be a direct bolt in!!!!

71 was the first year for the "corporate" 8.5 inch 10-bolt in the F-body. So a 71-81 F-body rear should be the 8.5-inch and bolt up.

Are there any ways of telling besides popping the cover? A car that old might have had various things "swapped" in its lifetime. Thanks
