On my 67 Camaro I am using a manual master cylinder from 67 corvette on my wilwood four wheel disc break setup. I am having trouble adjusting my break pedal push rod because I dont know how long it should be? Is there a procedure for adjusting this? Any input would be appreciated. THANK YOU!

Measure the depth from the mounting surface on the master cylinder and adjust height of the rod from there. Too long and brakes drag, too short and more pedal stroke is needed.

From underneath the dash, remove brake pedal spring if equipped....Back off the pushrod by turning counterclockwise until you feel free play in the brake pedal.....Adjust the pushrod clockwise until you have between 1/16"-1/8" free play in the brake pedal.....Don't adjust the pushrod tight against the piston in the master cylinder or you'll have problems, you need this free play clearance in the brake pedal!.....You may or may not have to readjust your brake pedal light switch.....Reinstall the brake pedal spring if equipped.

On an original manual master cylinder, the pushrod length from the brake pedal to the master cylinder piston is around 7 inches.....I don't know what, if any, difference it would be with your Corvette master.
