Will a 67 camaro original tilt steering column fit in a 68 camaro. I just bought my first camaro about a month ago. It is a 68 camaro with the horseshoe shifter and I absolutely love the car but because of severe arthritis in my joints, I am having a rough time getting in and out of the car. My leg gets caught under the steering wheel and a tilt steering column would solve the problem. I saw a 67 tilt steering column on the classifieds today and was wondering if it would work on my 68. Also, is this the best buy for my money or is there any other option. Thanks alot, Keith

I think it will fit NP. However if you find it does not can you PM me with where it is cause I have been looking for one for some time for my 67

yes, it'll bolt right in. The knobs are different, and there's a chance that the connector is different for the wiring--not sure exactly on the wiring.

Another option to make entry/exit easier might be a smaller steering wheel.

1967 and 1968 Tilt Columns are the same.
