Check out Hotchkis. I have the TVS package with bilstein shocks for my 67 Vert and love it. They have upgrades for Camaros all the way up to the 2002. http://www.hotchkis.net/c-588-1998-2002.aspx

Good Timing, were actually doins a project car right now. It is a 2000 WS6 Trans Am convertible we bought new. The car has been totally stock, but just yesterday I added the new 19" Forgeline wheels. Weds were doing all the Hotchkis stuff, springs, trailing arms, strut brace, etc. So we will be able to give some real feedback and are doing pictures.

Here is a pic of the car with the new wheels, needs to be lowered badly!

The SS suspension is way better than the Z/28 stuff!
The lower trailing arm bushings are very weak. Global west and Hotchkis have upgrades.
There are 1LE packages available from SLP. Wheel to Wheel developed the 1LE parts for road racing.
