: Rear quater inner patch panel??

I am in desperate need of a rear inner quarter patch panel. This is the area behind the door striker, infront of the inner/outer wheel wells, that the quarter window mechanism attaches to. Both of mine are rotted out on the bottom. Rick's shows a pic. but I have been told they are not out yet, same thing they told me 6 months ago. Anyone else have this problem? How did you deal with this? Thanks.

I have some from a 67 that are not to bad of shape. Take a pic of yours and I can let you know if they are useable.

My bad, I thought you were talking about the jamb of the quarter. My inside had some rot at the bottom as well. I cut it out and shaped a peice of sheetmetal in it's place.

I have tryed both dynacorn and goodmark neither are reproducing it. Seems a little odd though as dynacorn is reproducing the entire body, what are they doing for this particular panel??

I guess they dont sell it so you have to buy the entire shell if you need this part.

About $750 per side. For 68 models only at present. Could be modified for 69' easily by changing outer wheelhouse. For 67'. you'd need to modify for the three hole door hinges.

Thanks for the input Belairbob Would you happen to know of any salvage yards that i could get a hold of that would be able to salvage these panels ie: the lower 1/2 which is rotted out, and send them to me. Here in Nothern North Dakota availability is extrememly limited.

I may have a set on the way. Send me your contact info via PM. One is supposed to be really nice, and the other is missing a couple of inches at the front, but easily usable with a small patch.

Now that looks like it could help me tons. Even if I don't end up using the sail panel or A pillars, I do need the rocker and inner quarter. Now I just need to find someone to weld it all together!

Would it not be possible just to swap the 67 door hinges for 68's and modify the door accordingly?
