Sorry, if this is a question that has been hashed out before, but what (if anything) is the difference between RS front fenders and standard front fenders for a '67? Thanx in advance.

The RS fenders have mounting tabs for the headlight doors / motors. Headlight buket mounts for the std. fenders are different.

You can convert the standard fenders to rs with a minor weld on of an rs bracket, suppose you could do the opposite (rs to std too?). I did mine a while ago using the rs headlight buckets to position the new bracket and welded them to the fender doubler area.

You can buy pre-fab tabs from Ricks or Classic Industries for pretty cheap. They are the same tabs for 67 & 68 but for 69 they are slightly different (and they don't make the tabs for a 69....atleat not that I have found)..

yes you can convert RS fenders to standard too by cutting off the RS tabs, but why, RS fenders are more expensive. if you need Standards, just order a set,

but in "my opinion" a Camaro isnt a Camaro without the R/S package... http://www.camaros.net/forum/wink.gif

dont bite my head off everyone, its just a personal opinion..
