Need some help with a 67 convertible.
There are gaps on the driver side window. -When up it is rolled up it is about 1/4" from inserting into the weather stripping on the convertible top. It also does not meet up with the rear triangular window's weather stripping.
There is a GM parts sticker inside of the door, so I wonder if a door and glass from a hard-top was installed at some point, and that might explain the gaps.
If so, do I have to change out the glass, or are there some adjustments that I can make to tweak the fit?
Thanks guys.

There is quite a bit of messing around to get the rear 1/4 and the door window to all fit right..I have never done a convertable so assume its sort of the same.
the mounting bolts are also adjustment to line up in the door
I got the door right then did the rear quarter, which in itself is a mission.
On a hard top u have to get where the front edge fits slightly harder to the iside of the rubber otherwise if u wind up the window at speed the window sucks out and doest go in till u are near to stopped.
There are some good older posts, 6/12 months ago as to what order to adjust things in (search button above)

One big difference is on a vert, you can move the ROOF, too!
Get yourself a 1968 Fisher Body service manual. All the repro houses have them, invaluable for stuff like this. All the adjustments are in there.
The windows can be moved in all 3 dimensions, and the top rails moved as well. It sounds like the door window needs to shift to the rear, one of the easier adjustments. You'll probably also need to adjust the UP stops.

I think the convertible windows are actually a bit shorter than those of the hardtop, like the windshield is.
There is a great thread here somewhere that shows the adjustments for the windows.

I have the exact same problem with my '67 convertible, but I wish it was only 1/4 inch that I was dealing with. Mine is more like one inch! I do not think my problem is an issue with the side window glass being too low, because there is also a gap at the top of the vent window on the driver's door. Is the triangular chrome trim that holds the vent window adjustible? If not, then the only place where I could see any adjustment happening would be the side of the convertible top frame. My thoughts are that the previous owner probably installed the top himself and did not pay attention to the top frame adjustments. The car was apparently apart for several years during the restoration. I would love to fix this, but from the looks of things I am pretty sure it would involve the installation of a new top.
Does anyone have any insight into this?

Wow, I thought it was just my car that has this problem. I have the same 1/4 inch gap and the colorado cold winter air freezes my left ear a bit. I havent cracked open the door panel yet to see what can be adjusted but once the garage temp comes up above freezing I intend to. If I find something usefull I will post here.

67s are harder to get adjusted cause of an extra window. theres adjustments on all 3 windows. also the seal on top got some movement on it to get adjustment also.what i did was leave all loose and close door roll up windows move to seal and tighten up adjustments. than little bit move seal over in spots to seal tight. it takes time to do it.
