My Camaro has scratched glass from rolling the windows up and down. They are not deep but noticable. Is there any way to buff that out or do you have to replace it with new glass?

You can get buffing supplies to take scratches out of glass. However, it is an exteremly messy & time consuming process.

I was always told that if you could catch your finger nail in it, it was too deep to buff out.

Check out EASTWOOD CO. They sell a kit to do just that. (1-800-345-1178)

I buffed out scratches that were well over fingernail depth on the tempered curved windsheild on the 57. Let me tell you now that the kit to do it is cheap and it does work well, but don't do it. Find a glass shop that will do it and take your car to them. Let them deal with the mess and the sore muscles. It took me a week to do my glass, which I was told was not salvageable. It can be done, but if you can get a pro to do it for less than $100, and the kit to do it at home is $25 like mine was, pay the pro. You will understand if you ever try to do this at home.
