In this day and age its hard to find a reputable shop that can restore a Original Harrison radiator to back to good functional like new condition .

For the Classic muscle car owner ,Alumitech Reproductions may have your answer for a Cool Solution to your overheating condition .

seems thare alot of folks looking for a complete re-coring service for that Classic Harrison radiator for your muscle car strictly using USA made cores

A Service should entails removal of your original Harrison tanks , sand blasting, removal of unsightly dent ,repairing cracks and damaged areas
and re-coring with a high efficiency new style core , or original O.E.M style core for concourse judging .
repainting and shipping service for USA or internationally customers ...this may be what some Chevelle owners are looking for .

this may be in the works for Team members if the responds is great enough ... any thoughts on this would be greatly appriciated

My 67 Camaro has the orginal Harrison Radiator. It looks in good condition. The original owner of the car said it did not leak.

Would like to paint the radiator.

Should I bring it to a radiator shop for cleaning and painting or is this something I can do myself?

You can easily repaint your radiator. But you need to make sure have the correct radiator paint or you will have problems, plus it will not look right. Also, may want to get your radiator soft bead blasted to make sure all the old paint is off and you have a good surface to cling too.

The radiator paint can be bought form many of the parts vendors (Eastwood, Heartbeat City, etc). It runs about $30 a can. If you are doing a small block radiator, you can probably get away with a single can if are careful. Best way to hang the radiator some where clean so you can spray all around it at one time.
