I just purchased all three flitz buff balls and was wandering what type of drill anyone has used for either mothers or flitz. I was thinking of getting a straight air drill do you think this will work?

I use a Milwaukee. It has a variable speed and spins faster than my craftsman.

make sure you spin it the right way or else itll fall apart

I use a Meguiar's foam pad on a right angle drill.

Mine is an old electric drill, but a new cordless would be a better idea. No leads to mark the paint.

I use one of my cordless drill because of light weight and variable speed. All my corded drills are larger hammer drills, and all my air tools spin too fast.
