Can any one tell me when the D80 Auxiliary Panel; and valence (spoiler) became available in 1968. My Camaro was built in the last week of December 1967. I am trying to find out if this option was available then.

The spoiler option was not available as a factory option until 1969. In 1968 spoilers were only available from dealers.

If I am not mistaken the D80 Spoiler equipment was avail and mandatory on the 1968 RPO Z28 package. I think it is also detailed in the Assembly Manual so it was most surely avail in 68'.

Available as factory option in 1968 and 1969. Only became mandatory later in 1969 model year. This has been hashed over numerous times.
