Came across a huge "directory" of brake rebuilders...you might want to take a look at some of these? www.classic-car-directory.com cap68 Lawrence Shaw Jan 19th, 08, 01:02 PM Thanks Guys. bertfam Jan 19th, 08, 02:41 PM I also recommend Karps. They sleeved my 1955 Mercedes Banz 190SL Master Cylinder in stainless. Nice job and at a good price ($35.00 about 7 years ago). Ed sandiegoz28 Jan 19th, 08, 03:43 PM I used White Post: http://www.whitepost.com/brake.html. They sleave the piston in their resto and clean it all up thereafter. After about 10 yrs, the master cylinder started leaking slightly so I called them and they rebuilt again at no charge (I only paid for the shipping to their facility; they paid they return). I'm satisfied. Hans |
