I posted some info on the build a couple months ago and had questions on the cylinder heads. Thanks for that info. Here are a couple pictures of it now that its together. Couldnt get all the base clear off the block and it still needs to be taped off and painted again. Dont mind the mess in the garage. Waiting on my converter to be built before it goes back in.
Here are some of the specs.
385 ci(.040) scat forged rotating assembly, 6" H-beams with JE flat tops, Splayed billet caps,AFR 210 cnc ported heads 65 cc combustion chambers. Jessel 1.5 shaft rocker system, Crower roller lifters with hippo oiling. Comp Cam 630/630- 264/270@.050 on a 106*.Holley HP 950.
Thanks for the help on the build. I know it would work much better if the compression would have been higher but I think its still going to make a little power to play around on the street with.
Compression came out to 11.007:1 Used a cometics stainless head gasket and got the quench down to 41.
Hope these pics work. Had to upgrade my antique website so I could host pics.

Hey Don!!
Thanks for the kind words.
10's-9's....lol Yeah that would be nice. I hope with a nicely tuned suspension and motor it will go 10.90's. It doesnt have a cage so I am sure the track officals will put an end to things after my first pass.
40 coupe the bars I have under the car are similar to caltracs. These have only have 1 hole. I have thought about making new brackets for them to give some ajustment. Also, the tube type frame connectors I have wont allow me to get the nut on the back side. No biggie but would give a cleaner look. I will probably cut the floor in the near future and weld in a nice set of connectors. Something like the Detroit speed connectors.

The Bow, well its about 18 years old now. Havent used it in 10 years. Needs to go in the basement or sell it. Its an old Myles Keller "Impact". Very outdated! Havent hunted in 3 years. Just dont have time to sit in the woods anymore. I have a couple nice mounts though!
67 Deepwater, The color is Admiral Blue. Also seen on the 96 Grand sport vette.
Thanks again.....Hope to get it fired up soon!

Wheels and tires......Billet Specialties GTX-01 Rims
Rears are 15x8's with 4-5/8 Back space. 28x11.50-15 MT ET Street tires. (close to a 275-60) These are a little taller.
Fronts are 15x5's with a 195-75-15 Yokahama. Dont remember the back space. I have narrowed Fatman control arms on the front and the rear is a 9" and is shorter than the stock rear.

Thanks. Your car is absolutely beautiful and it has made me re-consider installing the side moldings. And the wheels are perfect. Very tastefully done.

The 67 lower moulding? It isnt correct for the car and I wasnt concerned about it since nothing else was correct. I like it and glad to see someone else likes it. I noticed you have pulled the motor in yours. Whats the new mill?

Trim and badges set the cars off. Last year I pulled the ZZ4 and installed an old mild 408 sbc that ran well. This year I pulled the 408 to be freshened up a bit with better pistons, heads, cam, carb, headers, etc. And once dialed in, the nitrous goes on. Post some track results if you go.
