Are the leaf perch pockets deep or shallow? Is it a 10 or 12 bolt rear? If it was originally a mono leaf they may have switched to the JCW 3 leafs. I think if it was originally a hi performance camaro they would have 4 or 5 leafs. I'm not sure which models got which. no69x-44 Jan 22nd, 08, 06:53 AM One other thing to look at is to check to see if the center bolt that holds the multi leafs together is sheered or rusted off or not. It is possiable that the head for the bolt is gone and the small, last leaf (making four leafs per spring) is missing. It really wouldn't take much for that to be the case. 1969z11 Jan 22nd, 08, 10:20 AM If it truly is a 69SS then I believe it should have 5 leafs. I think... ;) |
