Well I figure some pictures are due here, I just picked the '68 up from the paint shop yesterday after work. Now it's time to get going on dropping in the 468/PG that are sitting in the garage. Anyway, here it is, the blue ended up a little bit lighter than I had thought it woud (it gets maddening trying to tell one paint chip from another). I'm pretty happy with it overall, this is just a racecar, not looking for something perfect. Car is soaking wet, been raining like crazy here.

Looks great! Looks close to Viper blue, just a tint darker than mine.

PS - to answer questions, I bought the car already backhalved, got a 468/glide combo ready to put in now that it's finally painted and then we're headed to the 1/8th mile track!

David - I'd love to but it would be a pretty long row to hoe. Didn't get a title with the car, so I'd probably have to go the bonded title route, then everything needed to pass a Texas inspection.....Maybe someday, I'd to if I could

Where do you usually race? I'm up near Denton, so I usually race there, but also go to Redline and Kennedale on occasion.

Jason, we usually hit Kennedale, it's a little closer to us than Denton. We may get up to Denton some time this year, seems like half the people I know race up there.

Sorry about the rain. We haven't seen a cloud in nearly a week.:thumbsup: Kinda cold though. Mid 20's last night, but back in the 70's it would have been near zero. I love global warming.:hurray:
