Hi All,
I just purchased a repop 40669 Fuel Pump and I'm not sure if it is accurate.
The question I have is regarding the location of the relief holes:

I have read on here that a correct 40669 should have two relief holes located just above the crimp, and located on the backside of the fuel pump (facing the rear of the car when installed). The repop I received has two holes on the front side of the pump. One is located above the crimp and the other is about half way up the casting. From what I've read, this is not correct, is it ?

here are some pics:

1) The first pic is the repop pump I got from Ricks. Note the relief hole locations, and they're both on the front.

2) #2 is a rebuilt original listed on eBay right now. It shows the front side without holes. Can't see what's on the back.

3) #3 is just for reference with the holes. From what I've read, this is the hole pattern I should see on the backside of a 40669. Right ?
