Hey,
I have an X11, and i know it sounds dumb, but what does that exactly mean? Can i make the car and ss/rs with a 396, 427?

You can "make" the car whatever you want, but X11 would not have left the factory with a 396. Could have left with a 427 as a COPO with style trim, or COPO with RS, but it would not have been an SS.
It could also have left the factory as a SS350 with style trim or an RSSS350. However, most X11 were NOT performance cars. It was way more likely to have been a 6 banger or 307 with style trim than to have been an SS.

Go ahead and clone an SS/RS BB. Is there a reason you would you care what the tag says?

If you didnt detect the sarcasm is Daves post keep in mind most people here dont like clones. But mainly because there are so many scams out there, people trying to sell cars as SS when they are not.

You are very open about that. Hopefully others would be. By the way, do you have any pics of your Yenko clone? It sounds like you did a very thorough job on it.

Yea, but I don't have the software to upload them. Plus, I need a 4 year old to show me how!! :)
