Anybody know if there are any problems running air shocks while racing? I'm not looking to raise the rear of the car, just stiffen it up. I have a sub in a cabinet plus three amps in the trunk and after putting the battery in the rear I have had a little problem with the 29 inch tires hitting the fenderwell when hitting bumps and dips. My car is a street car that goes to the track a few times a year. I'm currently running a set of Summit adjustable racing shocks set on 50/50.

I had them and HATED them...I could not remove the Wheel hop....But now at times i miss them.....Guys night with 4 of us in the car....I have some rub issues! So I guess there are trade offs!

This can be a can of worms! you can change to a multi-leaf (if you don't already have), stiffer shocks (though they're not meant to hold a car up per say) or change the width or the back space on your wheels so that they do not rub anymore. Don't use air shocks...they are so 70's, lol

use coilovers instead of airshocks
