I would really like to keep all the chrome parts to my camaro original.

Can someone tell me if i bought new parts, lets say side view mirrors, convertible windshield top molding, etc would that be cheaper than sending out all the chrome on the car at once to get done? Will get a bulk discount? I really have my heart set on keeping the parts origional, but money talks.

Just my opinion here but I would have your factory stuff chromed, stainless polished, ect. Biggest reason, its going to fit correctly. Ive seen some OER window trim and door ledge trim that looked like tin foil. But I have seen some repro parts that were ok. I would keep your stuff. Have it chromed, stainless polished.

For parts I could not find originals in pristine condition, I had the originals replated. Cost more than repops... in some cases, significantly more, but I'm glad I did it.
