Nice. My n/a 23 degree 12.5:1 434 sbc put out 711 on 110 octane.

From the way the article reads they were surprised it withstood that themselves. But they made sure to pat themselves on the back. :beers:

The 383 crank is 4340 but the rods are the powdered metal type, they are stronger than the old "Pink" rods.

I was originaly looking at the base ZZ383 ,but I didn't want to buy another pair of headers to mach the raised D port heads,so I am with the Super AFR ZZ4,stand confg. ex. ports ...Happy Motoring
